Frosty Monday

No Harvest Monday for me this week. Other than a few pea pods and lettuce, the garden spot is pretty much finished for the season. Be sure to visit Daphne’s Dandelions to see what she and other gardeners are harvesting this week.

We woke to a frosty Monday morning here. Many leaves fell overnight and are blanketing the lawn. The rest of the week will be chilly too:

Yes, that is the "S" word in there although I don't want to believe it will happen this soon. There is still more cleanup to do in the garden spot and I am hoping to plant garlic this week.

  5. W for both wow and winter. Nothing like that here, but after an exceptionally warm few weeks, the temperature does seem to be dropping. Two days ago I was still in a t-shirt - today it was long sleeves and a jacket top go out. The forecast is for a drop of 10°C "to the seasonal average". Oh well - it couldn't last forever, and it did let me do some late sowing. now on to the bulbs ...

Found you through Blotanical -hope we'll see you around there a lot.

Stefaneener: Yup, it get’s pretty chilly here. Sometimes I wonder why I live here.

Miss m: Yes, looks like you did have a chilly week too. Any snow?

Sue: Thanks for your comment! Yeah, no matter how many years go by, I am still amazed at how quickly winter comes around. I am hoping to plant some bulbs this weekend too. I joined Blotanical hoping to enjoy others gardens while mine is under snow for the long winter

Autumn Belle: It DOES seem early this year. Luckily no snow here yet, but it will be here soon.
