The First Snowstorm of 2010 Continues

The snow is continuing to fall. Although this is a significant storm, so far it looks like it will not match the hype that has been building all week.

K went out to do a bit of shoveling and snowblowing this morning before it gets too deep. So far there are 6-inches of sticky snow out there. The storm is supposed to intensify later tonight with heavier snowfall and high winds.

Today is the perfect day to curl up with a good book:

  2. It's snowing again in SE Nebraska, where we've had around 2 feet already from the last couple of snowstorms. I hope it quits, soon. My daughter is in the process of moving.

That looks like a good book.

  5. I love Eliot's book. You're right, that is a great book to curl up to day. It's been snowing all day here too. I'm getting cabin fever!

  6. That book will get you through the storm, such a good read. As are all his books. We are still waiting on our first big storm. I am starting to miss the snow, there only is a light cover right now. The blower is tuned up, the tank is filled, the gas can is filled yet no action! All I want is to shoot snow 40' in the air :-)

  7. What an appropriate book to be reading. I think I ought to get it someday from the library and read it.

  8. Ooooh, Eliot! What an inspiration. We just drove the kids three hours to play in the snow. Maybe having it close is easier? Sorry it's a pain sometimes.
