First Ripening Tomato of the Season!

I was picking beans yesterday morning when I glanced up and saw it: A spot of red among the green foliage.

My first ripening tomato of the season is Juliet, a new variety to the garden spot this year.

  2. Wonderful! It really is great to finally see that flash of red! I grew Juliet for the first time last year and found it to be very prolific. When all the other tomatoes were just middlin' the Juliets shone!

    1. This is my first year growing Juliet. I have heard good things. I hope it does well.

  3. My Juliets are cranking again this year, doing much better than the other varieties. Last year, a bad blight year, they were mostly disease free and kept producing right up to frost.
