"And I've brought all my friends so they can eat, too. We love chard."
Oh my! "Nice buffet we have there."
That is one pest I'm so happy to not have in my garden. They are so hard to keep out. My mom had an 11' fence and they still got in occasionally. Of course once they got in they didn't have the running room to get out again so her garden was eaten then trampled.
They are so pretty to look at, even if they do eat on your garden. All I have seen of our local herd lately is some droppings - their calling card that they have been around. Those are some great shots!
We have our share too but so far they've stayed out of the garden.
Beautiful deer photos. Oh yes, I have a few families visiting daily, they come for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Nice of them to share the secret of your garden. We have so many of them passing through up here in the mountains. Im going to have to devise a way to prevent it. Actually I am devising a way to create a greenhouse. Perhaps a walipini instead. That is, a greenhouse top but a huge deep trench in which to grow them.
